From Bologna to the Big Apple
The Capitano family moved from Bologna, Italy to New York, U.S. in 1987. Since then, they've made sure to hold on to their family traditions. Namely, their home-cooked, three-meals-a-day-with-family and pasta-from-scratch on Sunday rules.
Nonna Nora's Legacy
Nonna Nora, the matriarch of the Capitano family, made sure that all her children, and grandchildren knew how to cook the staples from her native Emilia-Romagna region (like Bolognese sauce!).
After Nonna passed in 2007, the Capitano family opened Season Treats to keep her spirit alive through her timeless recipes and favorite dishes.
Come Meet the Family
Come down to the cafe to try one of Nonna's favorite plates and take some fresh pasta home with you to share a homemade dinner with your family. That's what Nonna would want!
